Discngine Assay Documentation

Welcome to the Discngine Assay documentation. In this documentation, you will find a description of the solution, explanations of how the applications work, and some tutorials to help you get started with the platform.

What is Discngine Assay?

Discngine Assay is a cloud solution (software-as-a-service) that allows you to capture, manage, and analyze your plate-based Assay data for compound discovery. To know more, please visit our website

Applications

The solution is divided into several applications. Each application has its own purpose explained below. They communicate with each other to share important information (e.g., plate barcodes, compound codes, ontology, etc.).

Here is the list of applications available through Discngine Assay.

  • Sample

Register your plates, racks, and vials, and perform actions on them through a wide array of workflows with worklist generation and logfile parsing. Documentation is not yet available for this application.

  • Assay

Perform calculations and statistical analyses on your plate-based experiments and publish the results to the Warehouse module or other systems.

  • Warehouse

Store your experimental results, coming from the Assay module or other sources.

  • Reference Data

Store various vocabularies and information that you can reuse in other applications, including ontologies, annotations, targets, plate layouts, and more.

  • Assay Catalog

Define the type of assay you are working on, the target, conditions, and results expected from this assay. Documentation is not yet available for this application.

  • Qualification

Assess the precision and accuracy of your plate-based liquid handling processes. Documentation is not yet available for this application.

Documentation

The documentation is organized as follows:

  • Home: Explains the general rules regarding the applications (navigation, roles)
  • Applications: One section per application. Explains how the applications work
  • Release Notes: Summarizes the changes made in each version of the solution
